Law's Famous Sayings

"If there were no bad people, there would be no good lawyers."


This quote means that if no one commits a crime, there would be no use for lawyers as since no one is committing any crime, there is no need to defend anyone from a crime


"I think we may class the lawyer in the natural history of monsters."


This is a humorous quote that signifies that lawyers are not very good people as they may be biased, corrupted etc.


"Laws too gentle, are seldom obeyed; too severe, seldom executed. "


This quote means that laws if they are not firm, no one would obey them, if they laws were too strict, they might be seldom executed as human pity might refrain someone from executing it

What Is Law?

Law in my opinion are the rules set by a party that people must obey. The law applies in almost every aspect and place in our life, in school, at work or even at home there is law everywhere. Why people obey is the law is because of several factors firstly, there is a fear of the punishment that comes with breaking the law. Also, people have a sense of what is right or wrong when doing something. There are many people who are dealing with law either making or enforcing law some examples include policemen and lawyers. Law can be enforced in various ways from making public speeches, posting signs etc.

Working together is slightly more challenging but more rewarding as it is a bit difficult for coordinate but work is done faster

The Project

1.     What area of study did you choose?  Why?

Human and other species, because it was an assignment passed by the teacher.

2.     What did your group hope to achieve?  What was your proposed outcome?

To raise awareness about the Malayan Tiger, we planned to raise awareness on the Malayan Tiger among peers via our article.

3.     How could you critically evaluate the success of your outcome?

If we were able to raise awareness among our peers.

4.     What were your specific group roles and responsibilities?  How did you organise them?  Was the allocation effective?

Our project was quite straightforward so we basically all did research and took turns writing the article, this enable us to find better info faster and more easier and finished the article faster

5.     Did your project have enough scope for every group member to play an active, full time part in the group work?  How could you improve this?

Yes, since we had to research many aspects of the Malayan Tiger, everyone had enough research to keep them, but I felt that the info was lacking, maybe if the group more motivated the research will be better

6.    Was the workload manageable in the time frame?

Yes it was, as we were able to divide the workload equally among ourselves, so we found it manageable

7.     How effective were your minutes and agendas at keeping the task on focus?  How did they help you?  How could they improve them?

They were not very helpful as we did not really refer to them, in the next assignment we could perhaps improve the agenda, by organizing the agenda so keep can keep on track.

We first searched in internet for information then we discuss about it whether it is relevant or not.

We discussed it among ourselves to see if they are relevant.

Not really as our outcome is too just raise awareness

Why?

Rank 1: International journalists

I feel that international journalists would be the best because they will be able to feature the pamphlet’s information into their newspaper, this has a large possibility to spread around the world as many people view newspapers and they will become aware of the slave trade when they view the published article on the respective newspaper.

Rank 2: United Nations

United Nations are Rank 2 because they also have power of high ranking law officials that can educate the public on the matter, also United Nations are stretch across almost the entire world, so the influence is quite great. The reasons United Nations are slightly lower is because some countries are not in United Nations, so they may not know about the issue that well.

Rank 3: Adults in developed countries       

Adults in developed countries are Rank 3 due to the reasons they are educated are able to understand and comprehend the matter of slave trade, but they are lower because their influence in changing the matter is lower than the united nations

Rank 4: International School Students

International school students are Rank 4 as they are the future generation, by telling them about the effects of slave trade now, they are able understand and possibly make a change to end slavery. They are a rank below adults as perhaps they may not understand or comprehend what is being said and that defeats the purpose.

Rank 5: Adults in less developed countries

They are placed in the last rank because they may or will not understand what is being said, if they do understand, they may not be able to make the effort possible to curb modern day slavery
